I've used Allivet in the past for both equine and canine medication without issue.
Last week I received an email stating they sent a request to my veterinarian for (routine) refill.
We are now five days out and I receive yet another email that this is their sixth attempt to reach my veterinarian for approval.
I've spoken with my veterinary practice several times they claim Allivet is being "difficult".
Practice has not only approved and returned request they've also emailed and I believe have placed phone call.
Allivet suddenly started to send the request to a veterinarian that isn't even in the practice we use.
They have however, charged my credit card $69.
There"s suddenly a disconnect at allivet.
Have they outsourced? I don't know but there's a problem!
Its the height of summer, we have enough medication through the end of the week( 3 days) then my dog will start to chew her paws raw without it.
Fortunately it's not a cardiac med.
I've just requested a refill through Chewy for which I'm sure I will receive med in 48 hours.
I will not be returning to Allivet for any further medication needs:

Again! Multiple emails saying vet has not responded, while vet proves otherwise.
Is good price worth the delay in getting badly needed meds?

The order was placed quickly and on time! I recommend this store for permanent cooperation, it's nice to buy here, and normal prices

What a terrible company to deal with. I placed an order the beginning of May at which time they charged me for the shipment. In the beginning of June, I called and the order had not been sent, but expected it to go out around June 6. Nothing! Today, July 20, I received an email about my next Autoship! I haven't even received the first order and they want to bill me for another on July 26th. Cancel my account was my response, never again.

There is always an issue getting the vets prescription. My vet is very good at returning prescriptions, yet they never seem to get them by fax or email. Spoke to Carol, a manager, to find out why they they are claiming that they haven’t been received when I watched my vet send them. Carol doesn’t care though, Carol is too busy doing something else more important because she never called me back. Or they claim to get one and not another. Every time you call there’s someone who can hardly speak English that just repeats and repeats the same thing. And each time it’s a different story and no one is willing to help. It’s just a, well it’s your vets fault and we can’t do anything about it. No Allivet, you just have incompetent workers there.

I placed an order June 12th and never received it, even after being told it had shipped by Allivet and FedEx. I had to contact ALLIVET - 15 days later - to be told that in fact NONE of the items I ordered, was charged for and that were supposedly shipped to me, were in stock! Wow! I received an apology from online chat and promise of a refund, but no credit, when I definitely deserve something (like a discount on future orders) for the trouble and wait. I could have been shopping elsewhere!!!

Worst pet pharmacy. They don’t respond to customer emails and claim they sent and RX authorization to your vet when they don’t.

First time using them; ordered 2 cases of canned food; they arrived with 12 of the cans dented/smashed - not a great first experience. Not packed properly as I order from other places all the time and see how these things should be packaged. Probably last time I will use them.

my cat got worse after using them but again doing have been her issues just progressing. All I know is that she died. My main complaint was that you have to call to turn off a autoship and they don't allow it to be deleted that screams SCAM to me
